How do I get rid of all these ants?

I literally have millions of ants that pop up all over the house....usually in bathrooms and kitchen.....they really love the dish washer.....I have tried sprays and cinnamon......nothing seems to work....i've even got those radiofrequency devices that plug in and they dont seem deterred by that....they only invade the house in winter and are gone a majority of the year.....should I use granules so they take them back to the nest or what do I do.....Im losing my mind....
