When should I give my daughter's blanket back?

I was in almost the same place with my 2 year old son. I would put him down for a nap and when I would go to wake him up, I would find his blankets and walls and even himself covered in poop. Disgusting!! He was a very curious little boy. I liked to take his diaper off and play in it. We tried all kinds of things to get him to stop. Eventually we started giving him cool showers to clean him off, and then making him clean up his own mess. After a few days he stopped and hasn't done it since. It is probably just a phase; she will grow out of it when she learns it's unacceptable. I think taking the blanket away for one night is good, but I would take it away every time she does it.
