Why can I not see my deleted items?

In Yahoo! Mail, I have a deleted items folder. It is different from the Trash folder. It says there are three items in the deleted items folder, but when I click on it, the screen says the folder is empty. I just got a PDA and use it sometimes to check my Yahoo! Mail. Would that have anything to do with it?
