Help with Chemistry problem!?
First thing you do is find the number of moles of sulfuric acid. To do this, you can multiply the molarity by the volume, and make sure it's in liters, not mL. Use your molar ratios in your equation, (3 moles sulfuric acid yield 1 mol of aluminum hydroxide. Make sure your equation is balanced before you use these numbers). :) This will give you the correct number of moles of aluminum hydroxide. Change the moles to grams using the formal m of aluminum hydroxide. This number/1.24 grams*100 should give you the percentage of aluminum hydroxide in the antacid.
