I have a Canon powershot elph. When I take pictures they look like they have a haze around them. Help!?

I have a Canon powershot elph. When I take pictures they look like they have a haze around them. The picture needs to be sharpened. Can anyone help me on what needs to be adjusted to make them more clear? Thanks!
